House Passes $1.15 Trillion Defense Bill Despite Near-Unanimous Democratic Opposition

The House approved a $1.15 trillion defense spending bill 216-212 on July 22, 2026. Almost all Democrats voted no, objecting to Trump's Iran war and new voting restrictions in the bill.
