Katie Taylor retired from boxing after beating unbeaten French boxer Flora Pili at Croke Park, Dublin on 5 September 2025. The 82,000-capacity farewell drew the curtain on a career that included Olympic gold and the Serrano trilogy credited with elevating women's boxing. Taylor called it "a dream ending to a dream career" and said she will remain in the sport.
