Maduro and US Prosecutors Propose June 2027 Trial Date

At a July 22, 2026 Brooklyn hearing, Nicolás Maduro's defense and Justice Department prosecutors jointly proposed a June 2027 trial start — over six years after the original 2020 narco-terrorism indictment (drug-related charges tied to terrorism statutes).
