Cuauhtémoc Medina appointed curator of 25th Bienal de Arte Paiz in Guatemala

Mexican curator Cuauhtémoc Medina will lead the 25th Bienal de Arte Paiz, running November 2027 to February 2028 across Antigua and Guatemala City, The Art Newspaper reports. Medina was chief curator of Manifesta 9 in Belgium (2012) and the 12th Shanghai Biennale (2018), and served as chief curator at MUAC in Mexico City from 2013 to 2024. The edition marks Fundación Paiz's 50th anniversary.
