Drug overdose 'Good Samaritan' bill could save up to 29 lives a year, committee told

Drug testing service Know Your Stuff has told Parliament's Health Committee that the Drug Overdose (Assistance Protection) Legislation Bill could save 18 to 29 lives a year. The member's bill, from Green MP Kahurangi Carter, would stop police charging people who call an ambulance for an overdose.
