Good Samaritan drug bill could save 18–29 lives a year, select committee told

Drug testing service Know Your Stuff has told the Health Committee that the Drug Overdose (Assistance Protection) Legislation Bill could save 18 to 29 lives a year based on current overdose rates. The Green MP Kahurangi Carter bill would stop police charging people who call an ambulance for an overdose.
