Teenager Charged With Mother's Murder in Perth Family Violence Case

A 16-year-old boy faced Perth Children's Court on 22 July 2026, charged with murdering his 35-year-old mother and attempting to kill his 12-year-old sister at their Bentley home. Police found the mother dead on 21 July. The stabbed sister fled to a highway; bystanders gave first aid. She remains in critical but stable condition. WA Police are treating the case as a suspected family violence homicide.
