Boy, 16, Charged After Mother Killed and Sister Hurt in Perth Home

A 16-year-old boy was charged on 22 July 2026 with killing his 35-year-old mother and trying to kill his 12-year-old sister at their home in Bentley, Perth. Police found the mother dead on 21 July. The injured sister ran to a nearby road, where strangers helped her. She remains in serious but stable condition. The boy appeared in a children's court.
