Substack adds Pangram-powered AI text detection

Substack launched AI text detection on July 21, 2026, powered by Pangram. Readers can scan posts, notes, replies, or comments over 100 words via the three-dot menu's "Scan for AI text." It works on web and iOS; Android is "soon." CEO Chris Best called it a transparency measure for reader-writer trust.
