Substack launched an AI text detection tool powered by Pangram on July 21, 2026. Readers can scan any post, note, reply, or comment exceeding 100 words via "Scan for AI text" in the three-dot menu. The tool is available on web and iOS; Android support is coming "soon." CEO Chris Best framed the integration as a transparency measure for reader-writer trust.
