BloombergNEF: U.S. Data Centers on Track for 20% of National Power by 2035

BloombergNEF projects U.S. data centers will consume one-fifth of national electricity by 2035 — four times today's level and 83% above BNEF's December forecast. EPRI and S&P similarly raised estimates. AI training and inference account for nearly half of projected demand.
