About 2,700 MBIE staff to strike after rejecting pay offer
About 2,700 Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment workers will stop work from 9am to 10am on a Wednesday after rejecting a pay offer the Public Service Association calls a "zero pay offer." The deal would also extend the time staff need to reach higher pay bands. Immigration officers on about $70,000 are the largest group affected. MBIE has been approached for comment.
