About 2,700 MBIE workers set to stop work over 'zero pay offer'

About 2,700 Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment workers are set to stop work from 9am to 10am on a Wednesday morning after overwhelmingly rejecting a pay offer the Public Service Association has branded a "zero pay offer." The offer also lengthens the time staff need to reach higher pay bands. Immigration officers earning around $70,000 are the largest group affected. MBIE has been approached for comment.
