Samsung Launches RX Robotics Division, Commits $13B to Humanoid Production

Samsung has formed a robotics division called RX (Robotics eXperience) at its Seoul R&D campus. The company will invest roughly 19 trillion won ($13 billion) in manufacturing facilities in Gumi, Korea, with humanoid robot production targeted for 2026. RX is led by EVP Dongkun Lee, formerly of Hyundai's robotics strategy group overseeing Boston Dynamics.
