Samsung Starts a Robot Division and Plans to Build Humanoid Robots by 2026

Samsung has created a new division, called RX, to build robots that look and move like humans. Starting in 2026, the company plans to manufacture them at a factory in Gumi, Korea, investing about $13 billion. The division is led by Dongkun Lee, who previously helped guide Hyundai's robotics work with Boston Dynamics, a leading robot maker.
