Labour MP O'Connor slams coalition's electoral enrolment changes as 'absolute bullshit'

Labour MP Damien O'Connor called the coalition's electoral enrolment changes "absolute bullshit" and "an evil agenda" at Parliament on Tuesday, RNZ reported. The long-serving MP, first elected in 1993, said the changes were "undermining basic democracy." The Electoral Amendment Bill — covering enrolment, prisoner voting and voting reforms — had its first reading in Parliament.
