Labour MP O'Connor calls coalition electoral enrolment changes 'absolute bullshit'

Labour MP Damien O'Connor told reporters at Parliament on Tuesday that the coalition's electoral enrolment changes are "absolute bullshit" and part of "an evil agenda," RNZ reported. O'Connor, first elected in 1993, said the changes were "undermining basic democracy." The Electoral Amendment Bill, covering enrolment, prisoner voting and voting reforms, had its first reading in Parliament.
