Researcher Gains Remote Control of 11,000 Yarbo Lawn Mowers via Default Credentials
A security researcher demonstrated complete remote access to Yarbo's $5,000 robotic lawn mowers by exploiting hardcoded default passwords and internet connectivity. Attackers could operate the devices, access cameras, disable safety features, and activate cutting blades. The vulnerability affected approximately 11,000 units globally. Yarbo has disabled remote access and confirmed the findings while rolling out fixes.
