Greens draft donations bill with $30,000 cap

The Green Party has drafted a law change, the Electoral (Donations) Amendment Bill, to limit donations from one person to $30,000, RNZ reported. The bill would ban donations from companies, trusts and other organisations including unions, RNZ reported on 22 September 2026.
