Greens want $30,000 limit on gifts to parties

The Green Party has written a proposed law, the Electoral (Donations) Amendment Bill, to limit gifts of money for politics to $30,000 per person, RNZ reported. It would stop businesses, trusts and other groups including unions giving money, RNZ reported on 22 September 2026.
