OpenAI Builds Its Own Data Center, Reducing Dependence on Microsoft

OpenAI is partnering with Oracle to build computing infrastructure in Texas, moving away from its exclusive reliance on Microsoft Azure since 2019. The shift lets OpenAI train and develop models independently, addressing growth constraints that a single cloud provider couldn't handle.
