Coordinated Guinness Heist Hits Runcorn Depot

Thieves drove two heavy goods vehicles into Diageo's Runcorn packaging depot, each hitching to a pre-loaded trailer of Guinness barrels. One left at 7:55pm toward the Mersey Gateway; the second followed 90 minutes later toward Rainhill. Roughly 800 barrels — about 70,400 pints valued at £115,000, plus trailers worth £205,000 — were taken. Cheshire police are appealing for witnesses.
