Israeli Minister Films Himself in Palestinian Women's Prison, Touts Harsh Conditions

National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir posted video of himself entering a Palestinian women's prison section on August 30, 2026. A prisoner said they had gone three days without showers or medical care. Ben-Gvir called himself "directly responsible" and pledged to keep conditions at "the bare minimum of the minimum." Palestinian rights groups called the filming intimidation and an assault on their dignity.
