Israeli Minister Ben-Gvir Films Himself in Palestinian Women's Prison Section, Boasts of Harsh Conditions

Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir posted video of himself entering a Palestinian women's prison section on August 30, 2026. A prisoner told him they had gone three days without showering and lacked medical treatment. Ben-Gvir said he was "directly responsible" and would continue "the bare minimum of the minimum." Palestinian rights groups called the filming intimidation and "an assault on their human dignity."
