Sony and Warner Sue Anthropic's Co-Founders Directly, Alleging Massive Book Piracy

Sony Music and Warner Chappell filed suit in a California federal court against Anthropic, naming co-founders Dario Amodei and Benjamin Mann as individual defendants. The complaint alleges Mann used BitTorrent to download over five million pirated books, while employees downloaded at least two million more from a shadow library.
