Sony and Warner Sue Anthropic Co-Founders Personally, Alleging Mann Torrented Over Five Million Books

Sony Music and Warner Chappell's copyright suit against Anthropic, filed in the Northern District of California, names co-founders Dario Amodei and Benjamin Mann as individual defendants. The complaint alleges Mann personally used BitTorrent to download over five million pirated books, and Anthropic employees downloaded at least two million more from Pirate Library Mirror.
