Music Giants Sue AI Company's Founders Over Alleged Book Piracy

Sony Music and Warner Chappell filed a lawsuit against AI company Anthropic in a California court, naming its co-founders Dario Amodei and Benjamin Mann as personal defendants. The suit claims Mann used file-sharing software to illegally download over five million books, and employees downloaded two million more from a pirated online library. The companies want the founders held personally responsible, not just the company.
