Startup Launches Twitter-Branded Platform Amid Pending Injunction

Operation Bluebird launched a social platform at Twitter.now on August 26, 2026, while a Delaware federal judge weighs a preliminary injunction sought by Elon Musk's X Corporation. Led by former Twitter legal counsel Stephen Coates, the startup argues Musk's 2022 rebrand legally abandoned the Twitter trademarks. Judge Colm Connolly said in April he found no credible evidence of X's continued use of "tweet" or the bird logo. If the injunction issues, the platform could be forced offline.
