FMA chair who quit over impartiality breach to run for NZ First in Botany

Craig Stobo resigned as Financial Markets Authority chair after a review found his public comments on the Treaty Principles Bill breached public service neutrality rules. NZ First confirmed he will stand in Botany, the electorate held by Prime Minister Christopher Luxon. Stobo said standing would let him speak freely.
