Former FMA chair who quit over impartiality breach to stand for NZ First in Luxon's seat

Craig Stobo resigned as Financial Markets Authority chair after a conduct review found his public remarks on the Treaty Principles Bill breached public service impartiality requirements. NZ First has confirmed he will stand in Botany, Prime Minister Christopher Luxon's seat. Stobo said the candidacy gave him the chance to speak freely.
