Kino Lorber acquired North American distribution rights to "Filipiñana," Rafael Manuel's debut feature. The Filipino-language film, set at an elite Manila country club, earned selections at both the 2026 Sundance and Berlin festivals — a rare double nod for a first-time director. Manuel spent about eight years developing the project. No release date has been set.
