Hugging Face opens pre-orders for $399 open-source robot with reinforcement-learning stack

Hugging Face opened pre-orders August 27 for the Microduck, a $399, 25-cm open-source robot with 15 motors, camera, lidar, and two IMUs. Its SDK, simulation environment, and full reinforcement-learning training stack are on GitHub, enabling sim-to-real deployment — training in simulation, then running on hardware. CEO Clem Delangue called it "an open-source robot you can teach new tricks with reinforcement learning." Shipping is promised before Christmas.
