Hugging Face opened pre-orders for the Microduck on August 27, 2026 — a $399, 25-cm open-source robot with 15 motors, camera, lidar, and two IMUs. Its SDK, simulation environment, and full reinforcement-learning training stack are on GitHub, enabling sim-to-real deployment. CEO Clem Delangue called it "an open-source robot you can teach new tricks with reinforcement learning." Shipping is promised before Christmas.
