Startup Launches Twitter.now Amid Active X Corp. Trademark Suit

Virginia startup Operation Bluebird launched Twitter.now on August 27, 2026, reviving the name X Corp. dropped in its 2023 rebrand. X Corp. sued in December 2025 seeking an injunction; Operation Bluebird countersought cancellation of the TWITTER trademark, arguing abandonment. A federal judge has questioned X Corp.'s own use of the mark. No ruling has been issued.
