Startup Revives "Twitter" Name While Fighting X Corp. in Court

Virginia startup Operation Bluebird launched Twitter.now on August 27, 2026, bringing back the name X Corp. dropped when it rebranded in 2023. X Corp. sued in December 2025 to block the move. Operation Bluebird fired back, arguing X Corp. abandoned the trademark. A federal judge has questioned whether X Corp. still uses the name. No ruling yet.
