Startup Launches Twitter.now Despite Active X Corp. Trademark Lawsuit

Virginia startup Operation Bluebird launched Twitter.now on August 27, 2026, reviving the "Twitter" name X Corp. dropped in its 2023 rebrand. X Corp. sued in December 2025 seeking an injunction. Operation Bluebird countersought cancellation of X Corp.'s TWITTER trademark, arguing abandonment. A federal judge has questioned X Corp.'s own use of the mark. No ruling has been issued.
