Inditex brings budget Lefties brand to the UK

Inditex, Zara's parent company, opened its first UK Lefties store — 50,000 square feet at Liverpool One — on 27 August 2026, entering the value-fashion market long dominated by Primark and Shein. Over 100 shoppers queued before doors opened. Two more UK stores are planned this year: Lakeside in Essex and Metrocentre in Newcastle. Lefties, launched in 1999, now runs 225 stores across 20 countries.
