Zara owner Inditex launches cut-price Lefties chain in the UK
Inditex opened its first UK Lefties store — 50,000 square feet at Liverpool One — on 27 August 2026, entering a value-fashion field dominated by Primark and Shein. Over 100 shoppers queued before doors opened. Two more UK stores are planned in 2026, at Lakeside (Essex) and Metrocentre (Newcastle). Lefties, launched in 1999, now operates 225 stores across 20 countries.
