ICAC examines whether developer's $2m to conservative operatives targeted NSW building commissioner

NSW's anti-corruption body is probing whether fugitive developer Jean Nassif paid roughly $2 million to three conservative operatives — including ex-premier Dominic Perrottet's brother — to remove building commissioner David Chandler. Nassif, banned as a political donor under NSW law, allegedly threatened Chandler in 2021 before fleeing to Lebanon.
