A corruption watchdog is investigating whether fugitive developer Jean Nassif paid about $2 million to three conservative political operatives — including a former premier's brother — to oust NSW building commissioner David Chandler. Nassif, legally barred from donating to politicians, allegedly threatened Chandler in 2021 before fleeing to Lebanon.
