US terrorist designation for Palestine Action sets up potential split with UK

The US labelled UK-based Palestine Action a global terrorist on 26 August 2026, freezing its American assets and blocking dealings with US persons. Britain banned the group in July 2025; co-founder Huda Ammori's challenge reaches the UK Supreme Court in November. If the court overturns the ban, Washington and London would treat the same organisation differently.
