Deadly Flash Floods Hit China and Nepal, Leaving Dozens Dead and Hundreds Missing

At least 95 people are dead and over 350 missing after flash floods swept across China and Nepal, per CNN and The Hindu on August 26. Among the missing are 384 travelers, including 291 foreign nationals, across 22 Nepali districts. Reuters reported 1,146 rescued. Nepali officials point to satellite imagery of a glacial collapse on the Tibetan side as the likely trigger.
