Sudden Floods in China and Nepal Kill at Least 95, Leave Hundreds Missing

At least 95 people died and over 350 are missing after sudden floods struck China and Nepal, CNN and The Hindu reported on August 26. Among the missing are 384 travelers, including 291 foreigners, across 22 Nepali districts. Reuters reported 1,146 people rescued. Officials believe a collapsing glacier on the Tibetan side caused the floods.
