Fourth B.C. Conservative MLA leaves caucus over leader's "CCP" remark

Teresa Wat quit the B.C. Conservative caucus on Aug. 26, citing leader Kerry-Lynne Findlay's reported reference to the Chinese Communist Party and an apology that never arrived. Wat will sit as an Independent. She is the fourth MLA to leave the party this month, after Peter Milobar, Ian Paton and Rosalyn Bird.
