SpaceX Unveils $100B Louisiana Starship Complex, 16× Its Texas Site

SpaceX plans a $100 billion Starship launch complex on 125,000 acres in Vermilion Parish, Louisiana — roughly 16 times its Boca Chica, Texas site and its largest facility yet. The site includes five launch complexes, ten pads, propellant production, power generation, and employee housing. Construction starts 2027; first launch is targeted for 2029.
