SpaceX Wants to Build a $100 Billion Rocket Launch Site in Louisiana

SpaceX plans to build a $100 billion rocket launch site on 125,000 acres in Vermilion Parish, Louisiana — about 16 times the size of its Texas site and its largest ever. It would include five launch areas, ten pads, fuel production, power, and housing for workers. Construction starts 2027; the first launch is aimed for 2029.
