Albanese shuts down GST reform before Productivity Commission finishes

The Productivity Commission found the 2018 GST deal failed every objective and diverted $23bn extra to WA, Australia's richest state. Every other state and territory wanted it reversed. Albanese ruled out any change while he's PM — before the final report. Commissioner Angela Jackson called that "disappointing at this point in the process."
