Waymo Picks Munich for First Continental Europe Robotaxi Launch

Waymo will launch a fully autonomous ride-hailing service in Munich by late 2027, its first move into continental Europe. Germany's Level 4 autonomy laws provide the regulatory path. Waymo holds no permits yet and will follow its phased rollout: mapping, safety-driver testing, then driverless operation.
