Australian Court Rules eHarmony's Auto-Renewing Subscriptions Misled Users

Australia's Federal Court found eHarmony misled customers through "subscription traps," breaching consumer law six ways — chiefly presenting finite subscriptions that auto-renewed at full price. The ACCC filed the case in 2023, covering conduct through July 2024. Court orders are pending; eHarmony says it is reviewing the judgment.
