UK to Share SCALP Missile Data With Ukraine for Domestic Assembly

British Prime Minister Andy Burnham said in Kyiv on August 24, 2026 that the UK will share classified SCALP missile technical data, letting Ukraine build the long-range cruise missiles at home. Defense firm MBDA will release the details. The announcement came on Ukraine's Independence Day, Burnham's first trip abroad as prime minister. France agreed separately to help set up SCALP assembly lines in Ukraine.
